1.1 The email before the check

Use five questions to review one realistic email.

Imagine organising a partner workshop. The venue is unavailable on Tuesday. You draft: “Hi, Tuesday is a problem. The venue messed up again. We should move to Thursday. Let me know.”

Before sending, ask five questions: Purpose, Audience, Message, Risk, Action. You will improve this draft as you go.

Remember: a quick pause can prevent a long clarification thread.

What is unclear in the draft?
